CINDY ROBBINS (Jeanette Fisher) has been fascinated by theater and acting for almost as long as she can remember.  When the chance to be a summer costuming apprentice at the Theatre at Monmouth arose just after she finished high school, Cindy quit her summer job at the chicken plant in Belfast and headed to Monmouth. 
     Her two months there enhanced her belief in the power of theater to enrich lives and reaffirmed her conviction that theater in some form or another would always be a part of her life.
     After graduating from UMO with a B.A. in theater she settled on MDI and raised her family.  She has appeared in many local area theatrical productions over the years; some of the most memorable ones being clowning,  juggling and slack rope walking with the Crabapple Community Circus 20 years ago and her role as Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream.
     Cindy has enjoyed a long and fulfilling association with NST as an acting student and an actor.  Of her many roles in NST productions, two of her favorites are Bella in Neil Simon's Lost in Yonkers and Bananas in House of Blue Leaves by John Guare.
     Cindy makes her living as a gardener at the Asticou Azalea Garden in Northeast Harbor.
