Creative Teen Camp

Running July 6-10, NST's Creative Teen Theater Camp is designed for those who will be entering 7th grade or higher in the fall of 2026.  Campers will focus on the creative aspects of theater, such as, how to direct, lights, sound, sets and costumes and all the things that go into creating and bringing a show to life.  A production will take place with the attendees of theater camp in the following two weeks.  By the end of the week campers will learn many aspects of theater production and the leadership roles that bring a show to life.  Will they act, direct, run the lights, work back stage, build the set, work on costumes, fun the front of house?  If joining us for Theater Camp, this group will “produce” our production to be performed on July 24. Camp runs from 9-3 and it will be a fun, interactive week learning what truly goes into bringing live theater to life!  If your camper only wants to be involved in this one week, that is okay!  If your camper wants to be engaged in Theater Camp in the following two weeks, please register for the second camp at the discounted rate!  Scholarships are available, please contact Lori Sitzabee at lori@newsurrytheatre.org.  Payment plans are available!  

NST Theater Camp 2026

Running July 13 - 24 (no weekend), NST's Summer Theater Camp is designed for those who will be entering 1st grade or higher in the fall of 2026.  Campers will be part of a production led (with counselor supervision and input) by our Creative Teen Theater Campers.  Your camper will participate in theater games and exercises that teach them about theater performance, as well as interact with other campers while they learn about working as a team, vocal projection, character development, stage craft and many other "acting skills" while also developing their self esteem, problem solving, creativity, motivation, group dynamics, just to name a few! Camp will be held at the NST office at 26 Hinckley Ridge Rd in Blue Hill from 9am-3pm.  Early drop off and late pick up available for an additional fee.  Performance will be held the last day of camp, July 24, at 4pm. Payment plans are available, as well as multiple child and camp discounts, in our payment options.  Scholarships are available by contacting Lori Sitzabee at lori@newsurrytheatre.org.
